California Surf Aloha Shirt

A print celebrating the surf Culture of California

  This is the fifth in a series limited edition collectors  shirts and done by our friend and the very talented artist Rick Erkeneff. In the design are featured the iconic surf spots of Malibu, Huntington Beach, Swamis, Rincon, Salt Creek, and San Onofre that were each meticulously hand illustrated by Rick in pen and ink. The art was then laid out in vignettes with elements of California and the coastal areas. Layered in between the waves, sun, surf breaks, and palm trees is a custom font written by hand naming every notable surf break between the Mexican border and Point Conception.

               With the finished piece, we were tasked with converting it to cloth and bringing it alive into a fine piece of wearable art in the form of a collectible aloha shirt.

    This is a very limited production and tailored to perfection in Surf City( Huntington Beach, Ca with a perfectly matched pocket and front placket to show the artwork completely uninterrupted.   It is made of 100% fine high thread count combed cotton poplin and has real coconut shell buttons.
