Native Tribes- Bark Cloth Hawaiian Shirt
A traditional island tapa print in natural earth coloring. Tapa cloth was made from mulberry tree bark in the South Pacific. It was woven into material, and stenciled into geometric designs using dye from plants, berries, and red dirt. Inspired by this folk art, we created this shirt which is made of 100% cotton in a durable heavier cloth similar in texture to the one from the islands.Celebrating over 30 years of fine apparel!
